Every two years the Australian Cotton Conference unites the industry for three days of collective learning.  The event brings together growers, agronomists, researchers, ginners, merchants, students, spinners, brands and retailers, industry groups, academics and innovators with a dynamic program that includes diverse perspectives from inside and outside the industry.


2,900 people chose to attend the Australian Cotton Conference in 2024, where organisers created an environment of learning, connection, inspiration and fun.

Conference is proudly hosted by Cotton Australia and the Australian Cotton Shippers Association.

Focus Topics: Future Fit Cotton

The 2026 Australian Cotton Conference will bring the cotton industry and its supply chains together under the theme Future Fit Cotton — a call to action to ensure our industry is ready to adapt, innovate and thrive in a rapidly changing world.


Across three inspiring days, we’ll explore the issues, ideas and opportunities to ensure we’re producing Future Fit Cotton.  Topics may include:

  • the next evolution of sustainability and traceability systems
  • on-farm innovation and data
  • climate resilience, soils and water stewardship
  • workforce and community wellbeing
  • market access and the competition, and
  • the role of science and policy in shaping our future.
