Solving the spray hazard conundrum

Susan Maas is a Research & Development (R&D) Manager with the Cotton Research and Development Corporation (CRDC), a role she has held since 2012. CRDC delivers outcomes in research, development and extension for the Australian cotton industry, and Susan has a particular interest in R&D relating to crop protection, stewardship and Northern Australia. Susan joined the cotton industry in 2004 as an extension officer with the QLD Department of Agriculture and Fisheries, and was an inaugural member of the cotton industry’s joint extension program, CottonInfo. Based in Emerald QLD, Susan is passionate about linking science to industry and was the editor of the Cotton Pest Management Guide from 2009 to 2019. Susan is a graduate of the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation’s TRAIL course and the Australian Future Cotton Leaders program.
