Kim Hanna began her career in cotton inspection in 1982.  In 2000 Kim co-founded TransGlobal Inspections, which is now one of the leading international cotton controlling companies, and where she continues to serve as the CEO.

Kim is highly involved with the International Cotton Association.  She chairs the Controllers Working Group, co-chairs the Rules Committee, is a member of the Certification Advisory Committee, and a founding member of the Women in Cotton initiative.   She joined the ICA Board of Directors in 2019 and last year was elected 2nd Vice President.  In 2023-2024, Kim will serve as the President of the International Cotton Association.
