CZISLOWSKI Elizabeth

Dr Elizabeth Czislowski is a molecular plant pathologist passionate about the development of applied molecular biology to solve real world problems. Her current research focus is the development of RNA crop protection technology against fungal pathogens. Elizabeth Czislowski completed her PhD at the School of Agriculture and Food Sciences, The University of Queensland on the fungal disease of banana, Fusarium wilt. While completing her PhD, she worked in the Queensland Government’s Plant Biosecurity Laboratory. Following the completion of her PhD, she returned to the University of Queensland as a postdoctoral researcher to work on developing RNA-based biofungicides for plant protection. Elizabeth also has experience in many areas of molecular plant pathology including diagnostics, phylogenetics and bioassay development.
