BACK Bill

Bill Back’s early agronomic experience was as a temperate pasture agronomist on the New England Tablelands. Since then, he enjoyed 10 years working for Auscott in both the Namoi and Murrumbidgee valleys. This focused on irrigated cotton production, but also summer and winter grain, pulse and oil seed crops.

In 2020 Bill transferred to the Lachlan Valley and now resides at Hillston managing a corporate farm. In addition to cotton, wheat, barley and canola production, he now oversees a developing almond orchard. Bill has completed a Bachelor of Agricultural Science, Rural Management (Hons) and a Graduate Certificate in Rural Science: Cotton Production.

Bill joined the Crop Consultants Australia Board in 2016 and has been President since 2021.
