Toowoomba Grammar School

Toowoomba Grammar School, a GPS School of Queensland, has been a specialist in the education of boys since 1875 and has an enrolment of approximately 1,180 boys from Prep to Year 12. The School is extremely proud to be recognised as one of the premier boarding schools for boys in Australia. It has a strong sense of community, history and school spirit, providing our boys with opportunities in all facets of education – and life.

The School’s aim is to present well-rounded young men to the community; demonstrating integrity, honesty, resilience, compassion, friendliness, a sense of humour and humility, along with a solid work ethic, an interest in life-long learning and the desire to improve the welfare of others, particularly the disadvantaged in society.  There are a number of key elements that contribute to this vision including high expectations for behaviour and student involvement, and by developing friendly, respectful and supportive relationships between not just the boys themselves, but also between the teachers and boys.

Toowoomba Grammar School is proud to boast highly professional and well-qualified teachers, along with a premium infrastructure and resource base that promotes a self-disciplined and aspirational environment in which boys want to learn and succeed.
