Ken McKee is currently Field Development Manager for Syngenta Australasia. Syngenta is a leading agricultural company helping to improve global food security by enabling farmers to make better use of available resources.
Ken commenced with Ciba-Geigy (legacy company of Syngenta) as a Field Biologist in 1986 and managed the company’s research program in NNSW and SQLD for 15 years. In 2001 he accepted the role as Syngenta Business Manager for its emerging seed treatment portfolio and for the next 6 years focused on bringing the company’s seed treatment products through from development to commercialisation. In 2007 he become Syngenta’s Field Development Manager for Australasia and currently leads the team responsible for the evaluation and development of Syngenta’s pipeline products across all crops and indications. He retains personal management of Syngenta’s SeedCare development projects including the development of Vibrance CST, Syngenta’s new cotton seed treatment fungicide.
