Richard Malone is the Southern Aggregation Manager for Customised Farm Management. Richard’s presentation will focus on disease in the Southern Valleys and will include seedling disease and establishment and the potential for black root rot to have a big impact in the future.
In all cotton growing regions disease is an issue. Predominantly focusing on disease from a southern perspective. Seedling disease and establishment in the South has the biggest impact on production in a cool growing region. Black root rot will have the biggest impact in the south in future years.
