Colleen MacMillan is a CSIRO Agriculture and Food Senior Research Scientist who is collaborating with a broad range of people and areas to discover how cotton plants make fibres, and using this information for developing new fibre traits and uses of cotton plants.Colleen describes herself as a scientist fascinated by plant secondary cell walls, what they do in nature and how they are, and could be, important and valuable in agriculture.
