Dr Karen Kirkby is a cotton pathologist with NSW Department of Industries Biosecurity and Food Safety, leading the CRDC funded project Managing Verticillium Risk for Cotton. Karen is passionate about finding solutions to cotton diseases. Karen and her research team search for biological, chemical and cultural management strategies to reduce the losses associated with cotton diseases.
