Simone Heimoana’s research work in cotton has focused on IPM – working on economic pest thresholds, sampling techniques, insect ecology, non-target effects of insecticides, host plant resistance, plant compensation for insect damage, biosecurity, insect borne diseases, honeydew contamination and factors affecting the colour quality of cotton lint.
