Louisa Ferrier is the Engagement and Member Services Manager at the Birchip Cropping Group (BCG). She has previous experience working in local government and private agronomic consultancy. BCG is an independent not-for-profit farmer driven research and extension group based in the Mallee and Wimmera regions of Victoria. Now in its twenty sixth year, BCG has 420 farm business members with an average of three farmers within each business, reaching approximately 1200 individual farmers. With a focus on improving the prosperity of farmers and agricultural communities, BCG is committed to embracing emerging business opportunities to hasten adoption and increase sustainability on farm.
