Your cross-industry Australian Cotton Conference Committee met in Brisbane last week to finalise the program and speakers, delegates gifts and a number of new initiatives such as Start Up Alley and a refreshed Fashion Parade.
22 sponsors and 95 exhibitors have been confirmed, with the 2018 event shaping up to be even bigger and better than the last one.
“The program is really taking shape, and we’re expecting a summary version to be available in the next few weeks,” Australian Cotton Conference Committee Chair, Fleur Anderson said.
“There are lots of surprises in store for our delegates including some new initiatives to showcase innovative start-up businesses, a big screen in the Trade Hall that delegates for delegates to advertise, a renewed NextGEN Breakfast and workshop session hosted by Monsanto and a Double Denim Day to celebrate our nominated charity, OzHarvest,” Fleur said.
“I’m very proud of the Committee’s work so far. We have representatives from researchers, merchants, growers and industry groups which means we are uncovering great new ideas from all angles,” she said.
